This type of packaging often presents us with the most complex of customer needs to satisfy. All sorts of parameters such as re-usability, high precision, oil/chemical resistance, static elimination as well as great looks and cost efficiency may have to be considered.
Key elements to successfulVirtually every pack we produce starts life in the M3D design studio where all the necessary constraints are accounted for. Once the design is agreed it’s over to a visualisation stage utilising solid modelling technology. At this point we can produce photo-realistic visuals of your product and the packaging to see how well it meets the brief.
Prototyping is the next stage in the process and our highly experienced engineers will produce all the required components for a complete evaluation before going to full production.
The range of packaging we produce for the manufacturing sector is very wide ranging from oil filter covers and protective trays to pass drop test standards to packaging aimed at holding products through medical sterilisation processes and covers for medical equipment.

Sometimes the primary role of packaging is to provide protection.
This was certainly the case with these fire alarm covers that had to give low cost protection for the product in transit. They also had to provide protection during installation to ensure that it couldn’t be accidentally tripped. The protector covers were made from a red coloured HIPS to aid visibility.
